[CESG] FIRST CUT AT JANUARY CCSDS MEETING SCHEDULE
Importance:
High

Area Directors: we hope to get the on-line registration for the
January 16-20 CCSDS meeting in Colorado Springs up and running by the end of
this week. The meetings will be held in the Penrose House:
http://www.elpomar.org/page.asp?pageid=0|6|51&id=0|penrose_house

You can click the "View Penrose House" button at the bottom that page
to get pictures of the meeting accommodations. This is a very pleasant
facility but we will be stretching it to capacity. Accordingly, it is really
important to come up with a well-engineered meeting schedule.

The
attached Excel file tries to map the Rome WG meeting schedule into the rooms
at the Penrose House on the same days that they were held in Rome. The
meetings that are highlighted in red are those that must be held on different
days than in Rome in order to fit the available rooms. The green slots are
available capacity. The Area plenary meetings will be added later by
allocating the six largest rooms first thing on Tuesday and last thing on
Saturday afternoon.

BOF and SIG meetings will most likely have to be
accommodated by pausing the most relevant WG meetings and re-using their
rooms.

PLEASE REVIEW THE ATTACHED LIST AND SEND
YOUR REQUESTED CHANGES DIRECTLY TO CRAIG DAY NO LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS
ON THIS COMING THURSDAY, 19 OCTOBER. This is very important as the result
will be the preliminary meeting schedule that will be place on-line to support
registration.

Best
