<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Hi All,<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Just to let you all know I have recently published a personal draft: Bundle Transfer Protocol – Unidirectional.
<a href="https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-taylor-dtn-btpu/">https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-taylor-dtn-btpu/</a>
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">The intent is to provide a minimal, efficient wire protocol for transferring Bundles over unidirectional, unreliable frame-based link-layer protocols, such as AOS, TM, 5G PDU and Ethernet.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">I’m following it up with a related draft covering how to add FEC to BTPU, for cases when selective FEC is useful, and a simple BTPU-over-Ethernet draft, which might be handy in some scenarios.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Also, I would be particularly interested in collaborating with anyone who can help draft a good specification for BTPU over the CCSDS data-frame protocols.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">I hope to find time in our packed WG agenda at IETF-112 to discuss it a bit more.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Many thanks,<o:p></o:p></span></p>
