<p class="MsoNormal">This is a reminder that we have a Webex working meeting scheduled for this coming Monday, 12 June.  There have been a few side meetings during the past month, including discussions with some of Fred Slane’s SC14 people on the use of the
 RASDS++ framework and a discussion with Dr Mark Winstead, who is one of the co-authors of the new NIST Security Architecture document, NIST SP-180-160, v1.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The SC14 discussions were largely about the adoption of RASDS++ and then what it would look like if it were adopted and then adapted.  This opened up some interesting discussions about the relationships among: RASDS and its viewpoints,
 how these RASDS viewpoint specs could be used to create specific SC14 views, and how RASDS++, especially the Enterprise VP, relate to existing SE docs and frameworks, such as the WBS perspective taken in ISO.  The slides that Koki Asari produced, addressing
 his SC14 WG concerns, are attached.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The NIST Security discussion was exploring whether the RASDS++ could adequately support the kinds of security concerns that the new NIST architecture document was tackling.  I created an extracted version of the RASDS++ framework where
 I abbreviated the explanatory content, but added security specific views for each of the viewpoionts.  The primary PoV being that there really is no one, singular, “security VP”, but that security concerns shows up almost everywhere.  That PPT file is attached.<o:p></o:p></p>
