There remain some terminology issues that are getting sorted out with Richard Melvin. He has produced a very useful revision to Fig 2-2, Terminology (latest available version attached). Fig 7-19 (and others), replace "Packet Router" protocol element with "Packet Forwarding" function. There is no defined protocol in SPP for "packet routing", it's a fiction that is in the process of being remedied.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="color:black;margin-left:0in;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2">
Fig 7-20 (and others), the two items on the right are really both part of "spacecraft" which should be a surrounding object that they appear in. In addition, the protocol stacks have some significant peculiarities that need to be sorted out. Shames & Krosley
