SEA-SA has, to our satisfaction, completed the work of producing the draft
of the ASL ADD. This document has been handed off to the CCSDS Chief
Technical Editor (CTE), Tom Gannett, for him to transform it into the correct
CCSDS template form. This was done with his agreement. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-Bottom:0px"><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-Bottom:0px"><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri">The
attached document is just in a simple Word doc form, so it is missing the
usual CCSDS template embellishments and some of the "boilerplate",
but it contains all of the necessary sections, ToC, figures, and text.
As we agreed to, we are providing you with this document ahead of
when it would normally be sent to the ADs as part of the normal CESG review
and approval to publish. We are doing this because this document
is intended to describe the work that has occurred in your WGs and, to
some extent, your future plans. This should accurately reflect your
work, we want you to make sure that it does.</span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-Bottom:0px"><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-Bottom:0px"><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri">Since
this is a Green Book it will not have a particularly high priority in the
document production queue. And, as a Green Book, this does not get
an Agency review, just CESG scrutiny and CMC approval to publish. For
that reason I suggest that you look at the doc both from the perspective
of your Areas and WGs, but also from the perspective of your agency. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-Bottom:0px"><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-top:0px;margin-Bottom:0px"><span style=" font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri">If
there are any last minute issues that you identify we ask that you please
provide them back to the SEA-SA no later than 10 Jan 2020. Even with
the holiday season that should give you more than three work weeks to do
this review.</span></p>
