<p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">These three standards form a closely related family and an understanding of their principles and use will become increasingly important in establishing an internationally recognised and certified
set of trustworthy digital repositories.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The aim is that at the end of the course, repository managers should be able to understand what a repository which seeks certification needs to do, what questions they may be asked by auditors and
what kinds of evidence may be presented. Auditors should be able to understand what to look for in a repository, what kinds of questions to ask and what issues should be probed.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
