<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri;color:#1F497D">To follow up a bit from the Cleveland meetings, attached is the CSSM working group latest version of an event definition. This incorporates the feedback we had from the joint
session with the navigation working group (which as I recall was at the chairman of the board level in Cleveland), and also includes some additional information that we have gleaned from the service management interactions between ESA/ESOC and NASA/DSN for
exchanging network schedules. This latter bit has to do with an ability to offer extensibility in a controlled but flexible manner. If you look at the diagram in the document you'll see that there is an "abstract" parameter" which has been added which allows
for simple type definitions to be included or more complex parameter definitions which we anticipate would be agency unique XML schemas.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri;color:#1F497D">To the extent that we are shooting for a common general event definition I think it would be worthwhile to follow up a bit more at the upcoming Rome meetings. There is a
bit of a complication in that I will not be at the Rome meetings until Wednesday of the technical week. Nonetheless, if you are amenable to a joint session (I hope no more than 30 minutes), please feel free to suggest a time that works for you and/or the navigation
