<u>Minutes</u> <br>
<br>
1. Prototyping status and feedback</span><span style=" font-size:12pt"><br>
</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">The prototyping
on ESOC and DLR side is progressing satisfactory. Christoph made the WG
aware of a potential issue with the ActivityNode data structure: in case
of sub-activities being defined on the fly, there is currently no interface
provided by the standard to add these sub-activities to the configuration
data. It was agreed that this is in line with earlier WG decisions to no
cover the exchange of configuration data in the current standard. In any
case, a mission specific exchange of the sub-activities information could
be provided in case needed.<br>
<br>
2. File Formats and XML Schemas <br>
</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">Roger has made
available (see GDrive) the updated Enterprise Architect model (draft T),
with the corresponding XML Schemas for File Based Exchange. All data structures
(including Constraints) have been modelled now, and the issue with the
ordering of attributes has been resolved.</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">Feedback from
Maria and Peter was discussed. In addition, Peter will perform a detailed
review of the XML Schemas against the latest Blue Book (draft F). It is
also the intention to validate the XML Schemas using the scenarios from
the Services Prototyping (as far as these apply to the File Formats data
structures).</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">3. MAL Blue
Book update</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">The SM&C WG
has made available an update of the MAL Blue Book for internal review.
Roger will check this updated MAL specification against the MP&S Blue
Book. The draft MAL Blue Book is provided on the GDrive (in Current Working
Documents, see </span><a href="https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Q0Xzg6-kUWA4Y27W0MtHvMi--vBHb9hU"><span style=" font-size:10pt;color:blue;font-family:sans-serif">https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Q0Xzg6-kUWA4Y27W0MtHvMi--vBHb9hU</span></a><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">),
please send any comments to Roger and Peter.</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">4. MP&S Blue
Book agencies review<br>
</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">Although the MP&S
Blue Book is nearing completion, there are currently a number of assumptions
(in particular regarding the MAL updates) and open points (e.g. the update
of the XML Service Specification for MP&S, also some minor issue to
be clarified with the NAV WG). It has been proposed to plan for the MP&S
Blue Book agencies review anyway in Q1/Q2 2022, not to delay the progress
on the MP&S Blue Book and its expected publication target (end of 2022).
<u>The WG agreed with this approach</u>.</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">The drawback of
the above approach could be that any changes to the MAL (which still has
to go through its own agencies review and prototyping) may require an update
of the MP&S Blue Book and as such a second MP&S Blue Book review
may be required. This could anyway be needed in case of major comments
on the MP&S Blue Book that will result in major changes of the standard.</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">In order to prepare
for the MP&S Blue Book agencies review, the following steps should
be completed (in the next 1-2 months):</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">a. The Blue Book
shall be updated in line with the latest MAL Blue Book draft (Roger)</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">b. The Blue Book
shall be updated with possible feedback from the Prototyping (ESOC, DLR,
Guillermo)</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">c. The Blue Book
and XML Schemas shall be updated based on the review and validation of
the XML Schemas (Peter)</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">d. The SANA artefacts
(XML Service Specification, XML Schemas) shall be made available on the
SANA Beta Registry (Peter)</span>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">e. The current
assumptions and open points shall be listed (Blue Book introduction or
separately) (Roger)</span>
<br>
<br><span style=" font-size:10pt;font-family:sans-serif">Peter will check
with MOIMS AD if the envisaged way forward by the WG is acceptable for
CCSDS.</span>
