Dear all:

I have uploaded a version 11 of the Test Specification into the Google Drive. We may discuss it tomorrow. I hope to have cleared most of the pending requests and missing data elements, but for sure there may be some loose ends. I have tried to my best to adapt to the BB issued for review.

Talk to you tomorrow

Regards

Guillermo

Agenda

1. Prototyping Status
2. Blue Book Status
3. AOB

Minutes

1. Prototyping Status

1a – Services

A prototyping meeting was held yesterday. DLR has completed the work as far as possible and are now waiting for the update of the Yellow Book tables by Guillermo, which will then result in an update of the prototype. ESOC has now assigned the prototyping work to GMV with the support of Cesar. The MAL v10 is now baselines and tested, and the MAL Blue Book is currently in the publication process.

The prototyping shall be completed based on the current Blue Book before the end of April. Then there might be updates resulting from the Agencies Review of the Blue Book. But this is expected to be minor effort and should not hamper the publication of the book after the end of April.

1b – File Formats

Quinten has some progress on the Yellow Book regarding the File Formats and Data Types. Some example test cases shall be implemented and run. This will allow DLR to estimate the effort in case they take the XML based testing onboard as the second Agency. There is a particular concern with the geometric constraints (such as the Pointing Constraint). Some of these should be implemented by Quinten in the near term, such that the effort and expertise required can be assessed by DLR.

2. Blue Book CESG Feedback
Roger has processed the major comments and CESG feedback into the Blue Book. Section 3 on the Information Model has been rationalised and moved to section 4. The formatting issues introduced by the CCSDS Chief Editor have been resolved, mainly regarding the formatting of the tables. All CESG feedback has been included in a spreadsheet and a suggested way forward has been provided (either “to be updated” or “closed by clarification”). Most of the updates are currently done, with only some issues remaining:

  1. The SANA registry references to the XML Service Specification and the XML File Format Schemas shall be corrected. In addition, there have been some changes to the MO Services file naming and versioning. This is currently not in line with the SANA Registry and should be corrected.
  2. There are some issues related to the NAV types. The NAV group has restructured their SANA repository, and the inconsistencies should have been removed. The MP&S Blue Book shall now be put in line with the NAV types.
  3. Roger has provided a draft of the Security annex, which may need a bit more checking.

Peter to fix points 1 and 2. Peter and Roger to review and update point 3. In addition, Peter will do a final sanity check of the document. After that, the update Blue Book will be sent (by early next week) to CESG to seek concurrence on the approval conditions. After that, the Agencies Review process can be resumed, with only the CMC poll remaining.

3. AOB
Next WG meeting will take place on Wednesday 6 March at 16:00, Peter to send the invite.
Best regards,

Peter
