<div dir="ltr">David,<div><br></div><div>I strongly disagree with your suggested changes. The OAIS preserves AIPs consisting of Content Information and PDI. SIPs may contain parts of the Content Info and/or PDI needed to create the AIPs. DIPs can contain any type of Information that the OAIS chooses to deliver. The inconsistency is in how an Information Package is defined. SIPs, AIPs, and DIPs can have drastically different content and are used for very different purposes. The current definition of an Information Package does not reflect this diversity.</div><div><br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div>Mark Conrad<br>NARA Information Services</div>
