I glanced at DMBOK, but the big DMBOK wheel made them look more like functions rather than phases, at least to me. Like functions that are done across multiple project phases (or process groups, etc.). I think I’ve heard Terry talk in terms of data functions done during almost all project phases (early to late), and I got that feeling from DMBOK as well.
