es/2024-04-Washington-DC/CCSDS%20MOIMS-DAI%20Spring%202024%20Agenda.pdf
Please let me know what alterations are needed.

6.	ISO 16363 and ISO 16919

o http://review.oais.info/show_bug.cgi?id=349 - JGG and MC should review

o an old one we need to resolve
http://review.oais.info/show_bug.cgi?id=389 - some duplication must be
sorted out and gives us an opportunity to add an important missing metric.

*	Sami received the attached. Apparently, it was missing from the
documents ISO sent about comments on ISO 16363.
*	I have added these as
*	http://review.oais.info/show_bug.cgi?id=392
*	http://review.oais.info/show_bug.cgi?id=391
*	http://review.oais.info/show_bug.cgi?id=390

Comments in the usual way please.

7.	See the attached notice from ISO. Not sure if we need to add
anything to ISO 16363 or ISO 16919.
8.	OAIS-IF

a.	draft BB - see

tion-v9.doc?rlkey=0r9cx6tc632s2u32wyvnsc326&dl=0> &dl=0 - I have proposed a
JSON schema for the Information Packages, which seems to validate against
the example IPs and AIP in the BB. This allows the BB to be more precise,
but no changes needed in existing software which were based on those
examples - see the updated section 7.1. In particular it follows XFDU and
supports digital objects which are either remote (e.g. using URI), elsewhere
in the JSON (using JSONPath) or encoded in the JSON (e.g. using base64).
The reason for the latter is that JSON must be text (actually UTF-8) for
interchanges between different systems
(https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/pdfrfc/rfc8259.txt.pdf), so binary files
must be encoded appropriately. The actual encoding should be part of the
RepInfo.

Terry raised the point that binary files that were not 8-bit multiples could
be a problem. My assumption is that padding would solve this, with
appropriate RepInfo, but others should think about it.

*	Also see https://github.com/dgiaretta/OAISIF?tab=readme-ov-file for
some examples - incomplete

b.	Making the APIs consistent between the draft BB and MB.
c.	Updated GB draft is

&dl=0. There is an expanded discussion of RepInfo in section 9.
