Jeff, David sent you the info on the OAIS Reference Model update.  That embodies most of our work on preservation processes.  I’m attaching the paper that we presented at SpaceOps 2023 last March.  That describes the current state of our OAIS Interoperability Framework.  Basically, software interfaces for archive interoperability, intended to serve both OAIS and other archives.  Those two efforts are largely the work we have going on right now.  Between those two, you’ll have the latest *high level* results of our work.

In the paper you’ll see a Doc Tree.  If you see any other documents on the doc tree that are in work, for which you’re interested in seeing our drafts, just let us know and we can send them to you.

Of course the published documents are available online for free.

Where it says “Show 25 entries” change that to “Show All entries” and scroll down to document numbers between 610 and 661.  Those are the DAI documents.

I can see on the framework that you have a CCSDS CWE ID.  You should be able to access some of the draft documents on the DAI folder in the CWE.

We use the dropbox for rapid interactive updates and file sharing because it’s more convenient, and a friendlier user interface than the CWE.  However we are obliged to periodically put the latest versions of our drafts on the CWE, though sometimes they may get a bit stale.  If the CWE works better for you, you can let us know what documents you’re interested in, and we can update the latest drafts on the CWE.

We’d be happy to see any participation in our DAI weekly telecons from you or any of the other LOTAR members or organizations.  If we need another special telecon to help bring LOTAR folks up to speed, just let us know.

I confirmed that it’s a security issue. Something to do with the dropbox service itself because I cannot even access the dropbox home page.

The A4 page size has been prepared for the ISO review which is starting imminently. Waiting for the ISO review delayed the publication of OAIS in CCSDS.
