<br>
<br>
I will send modified slides because I could not add this file in
CSTS of CWE. Unfortunately,
<br>
I can upload files only in MOIMS and MOSSG, IOAG's WG.
<br>
<br>
Main Discussion issues next Tuesday are as follow;
<br>
<br>
1) First discussion
<br>
Does your agency have concrete plans to provide MD-CSTSes to your
ground stations? By when?
<br>
Having concrete plans in service providers is necessary. for
service users to implement MD-CSTS.
<br>
a)JAXA service providers' position
<br>
JAXA service providers have also started studying the
capability/possibility of implement CSTSes
<br>
as a part of its future strategic plan, but they do not have any
concrete infusion plans.
<br>
b)JAXA service users' position
<br>
JAXA service users can request funding to Japanese government
<br>
as soon as it is certain that other agencies will implement CSTSes
to their ground stations as well.
<br>
<br>
<br>
2) Second discussion
<br>
When will functional resources of SANA Registry be approved?
<br>
The issue on SANA registries will be discussed not only in CSTS WG
next Thursday but also
<br>
in CMC meeting next week. We can skip this discussion next
Tuesday.
<br>
a) JAXA Service users' position
<br>
The functional resource types of SANA Registry related to MD-CSTS
<br>
should be approved before any agency starting implementing CSTSes
<br>
<br>
3) Third discussion
<br>
Should CSTS WG make CCSDS books for CSTSes API like SLE API MBs?
<br>
a) JAXA Service users' position
<br>
JAXA service users can implement user gateway without
standardizing CSTSes API MB.
<br>
<br>
<br>
4) Fourth Discussion
<br>
How should CSTS WG promote standards to end-users?
<br>
<br>
a) My position
<br>
I suggest that CSTS WG or CSS area have sessions related to
implement published standards
<br>
during CCSDS technical meeting. I have been MATLAB/simulink and
RTM(robot technology middleware) user
<br>
since undergraduate and keep updated information through user
conferences. Sessions like user conferences will
<br>
promote our standards to end-users.
<br>
<br>

<br>

Subject: [Css-csts] PowerPoint Slides for Tuesday's
morning session
<br>
in Berlin

<br>
Holger-san and CSTS Colleagues,
<br>
<br>
I will send the slides for Tuesday's morning session in Berlin.
<br>
These slides from the viewpoint of JAXA service users
<br>
have just been reviewed also by JAXA Service Provider.
<br>
<br>
These slides consist of following three chapters. I wish your
comments for
<br>
my slides, if you will have additional discussion points related
to
<br>
other session
<br>
such as SANA registry.
<br>
<br>
Chapter 1 :JAXA’s current status on implementing CSTSes
<br>
This chapter might be related to IOAG issue. I will explain
about
<br>
JAXA's thought for CSTSes also in CSTS WG, because the engineers
<br>
of JAXA service provider have not attended CSS area for more
than 5 years.
<br>
<br>
Chapter 2: JAXA’s scope and planned phases of CSTSes
implementation
<br>
Chapter 2 shows planned implementation phases of MD-CSTS from
JAXA service
<br>
users' side. I excluded the details of architecture for the time
limit
<br>
this time.
<br>
<br>
Chapter 3: JAXA’s probable approaches to promote CSTSes to
end-users
<br>
This chapter might be also related to IOAG issue. Chapter 3
shows my
<br>
thought
<br>
in order to fill the gap between documentations and development
for
<br>
end-users.
<br>
<br>
<br>
Regards,
<br>
<br>
Miyano
