<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Mr. Kalkhof commenced his professional career at CERN, where he contributed to a project
for the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) as part of his Master's Thesis. His research focused
on software development for a remote database cache system within the ATLAS experiment.

Following his tenure at CERN, Mr. Kalkhof transitioned into the commercial sector,
joining a company specialized in computer vision and 3D camera pattern recognition.
This role allowed him to apply his expertise in software development to cutting-edge
imaging technologies, further broadening his experience in real-time data processing and algorithm development.

Subsequently, after relocating to Munich, Mr. Kalkhof ventured into the e-commerce industry,
contributing to an international start-up. In this role, he leveraged his technical skills
to enhance digital platforms, optimize performance, and support the scalability of
web-based services in a dynamic business environment.

In 2018, Mr. Kalkhof joined the German Aerospace Agency "Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt" (DLR),
where he became a crucial member of the satellite ground station group. His responsibilities
included modernizing existing software systems by integrating advancements such as microservice architecture,
web services, and web client interfaces.

As part of his role at DLR, Mr. Kalkhof represented the organization in international collaborative efforts.
Initially, he participated in the CCSDS - Cross Support Service Management Working Group. Later, he became involved with
the Cross Support Transfer Services (CSTS) Group.
