<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia",serif">I have the rather unfortunate duty to inform you that the current CSS Area Deputy Area Director, Colin Haddow, will be retiring and stepping down at the end of the Spring 2022 meetings. Colin
has done truly excellent work in CCSDS and I shall miss him.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Georgia",serif">This means that there will soon be a vacancy with regard to the CSS Deputy Area Director. Therefore I hereby respectfully request nominations for a suitable candidate from the CMC. If possible,
