<p class="MsoNormal">I apologize that this was not reported before now. Effective 31 December 2018, Dr. James Afarin has retired from NASA and from his role as General Secretary of CCSDS. I would like to thank Dr. Afarin for his efforts leading CCSDS. NASA
is currently considering candidates to succeed Dr. Afarin as Agency Representative and as General Secretary. NASA has not appointed an acting agency representative.
