<div>In regard the SIM, EM, FM SCIDs there is no reason for the missions to change what they are doing on the ground. The process works for them and nothing that they do terrestrially, without using free space radiation, can possibly cause any issue.</div>

<div>That said, since they are not doing any free space radiation using these SCIDs then we would likt to recover them so that they can be used for real space communications. There will be absolutely no conflict between any isolated use on the ground and actual
use in space. </div>

</div>
<div>We will, however, place any of these relinquished SCIDs "at the bottom of the heap” for re-assignment. This has been our policy.</div>

</div>
<div>Would you please take the steps to formally relinquish these SCIDs?</div>

</div>
<div>Hopefully Juan and/or Harald will do the same for the ATV project SCIDs.</div>

the identification last summer of about 20 V1 codes authorized for cancellation by Eutelsat. As those codes were requested by ESA and not CNES I have passed the list to Juan Miro who should confirm to SANA.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
