to be used as our CESG (+ WGs) response to the CMC comments</font>

are as follows:</font>

to general comments for discussion at CESG meeting on <b>13th Nov 2015</b></font>
<li><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><b>CESG:</b> Agree on full set of consolidated
responses and complete the presentation for the CESG/ CMC meeting on<b>
16th Nov 2015</b></font></ul>

On behalf of the CMC, please find attached the consolidated comments of
CMC to the online Strategic Plan in the format proposed by CESG; </font><font size=3><br>
</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
This is in the frame of the action on CMC <u>CMC-A-2014-11-14
</u> agreed in Nagano. In this action the CMC was asked to review
the CESG input from Action Item <u>CMC-A-2014-11-13</u>, which referred
to an update by the CESG of the information in the Strategic Plan. </font><font size=3><br>
</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
Therefore the review has focused on the CCSDS Area Objectives &
Goals, and the associated workplan which is the part updated by the Area
Directors, as well as the consistency between these area goals and the
CCSDS Technical Strategic Goals. It was not possible to review the WG Charters
and the detailed workplan, and it was not part of the action </font><font size=2 face="Times New Roman">CMC-A-2014-11-14.</font><font size=3>

The comments are colour coded, and while it is expected that CESG reads
all the comments, response from CESG is expected only for the comments
in blue. This should also be the scope of the joint session with CMC and
CESG on the Online Strategic Plan at the Darmstadt meeting.</font><font size=3>

Please note that the online version of the CCSDS Strategic Plan is difficult
to read due to the small font and it is not possible to make comments directly
on it. Also, there is not printable version of it provided in the
CCSDS portal. Therefore a word file has been extracted from the
online version, and tthis has been used to make (marked-up) changes
on the general part of the Strategic Plan only (a subset of the comments).
This file is also attached for your convenience, but all the marked-up
changes in the Strategic Plan are also included in the file containing
the comments.</font><font size=3> <br>
