<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I do understand the desire to get these nine (9) documents through CESG review and out to the agencies. That said, this is a large number of documents, a few of which are substantial and several of which
have issues that were immediately apparent when I started reading them. It appears that only three of the ADs have been able to make time to do any sort of review, and I had time only because of a shift in my added duties. I looked, and found that for every
document there is at least one "Abstain, does not affect my Area" vote, which means that every one of these standards has not had a real review by more than 2 ADs, at best. Some only had review by one AD.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Since we, the CESG, are the technical review and approval body for CCSDS standards this concerns me. I think we really must do justice to these reviews. And so I support the extension of the review period,
even though THAT does not affect my Area. I'm done.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
