<div>As a concrete example, I REALLY WANT Osvaldo to finish the SIS-VOICE Blue Book; changing WG chairs, again, at this point because he was appointed to the CMC would be, in my opinion, a disruptive waste of resources.  Should a current CMC member volunteer

 to lead a new WG?  If they’re qualified and have the time/resources for the task, why not?  Speaking personally, being AD and chairing a WG is sometimes quite difficult w.r.t. scheduling, but for the past few meeting cycles the SIS meetings have been spread

 out enough that that hasn’t been an issue.</div>

<div>I think there’s a great benefit to agency diversity between AD / DAD and WG chair / Deputy chair (if there is one), but do we really need rules for these?  Won’t the current procedures for approving chairs and area directors provide sufficient oversight?</div>
