Dear Klaus-Juergen,

I’m sorry that I had to miss this meeting, it looks like it was a good one and I like both the direction it is taking and the apparent support that there is from the IOP.  That’s excellent.

I do want to point out that we have, in the form of the SCCS-ARD, an existing SSI/DTN space comm architecture document.  Because it has diagrams that provide an overview of how many of the other CCSDS building blocks fit together it might be useful to start the “CCSDS Context” part of the discussion with that sort of overall map of the territory, before drilling down to all the separate parts.

I think of it as starting with the picture on the front of the puzzle box, with it’s 1000 pieces, instead of just dumping the pieces out on the table and trying to discern what that picture might be without that sort of visual clue.
