In response to the conditions/comments:

*	Tomaso: Yes, '512+' indicates the same as '>=512' but the reason for using the '512+'
notation was to indicate that it is 512 or larger as opposed to the mathematical
notation. We can go either way on this but prefer to use the '512+' notation.
*	Jonathan: Permission was obtained from the publisher to use the illustration but only
for one time. Since we are revising and republishing, we need to obtain permission
again. I've submitted the request to Pearson a few weeks ago, and we await their
decision.

regards

howie

Jonathan:

Concerning your condition (or question), publication will not happen until we have reprint permission,
but Howie contacted the publisher some time ago and I would expect a response fairly soon, with luck
by the time the CMC poll concludes.

We did get permission for the first issue, and I would be surprised if they were to deny it for issue 2. If
we do not receive permission, some sort of workaround would be in order (replace the figure with direct
reference to the figure in the publication in which it exists, or create an original figure that conveys the
same information). In my mind, that would not constitute a substantive change to the document
affecting the CESG poll results.

Please respond by return email indicating whether this response satisfies your condition.

Dear Document Rapporteur,

The CESG poll to approve publication of CCSDS 350.9-G-2, CCSDS Cryptographic Algorithms (Green Book,
Issue 2) concluded with conditions. Please negotiate disposition of the conditions directly with the AD(s)
who voted to approve with conditions and CC the Secretariat on all related correspondence.

CESG E-Poll Identifier: CESG-P-2023-06-010 Approval to publish CCSDS 350.9-G-2, CCSDS Cryptographic
Algorithms (Green Book, Issue 2)

Results of CESG poll beginning 26 June 2023 and ending 10 July 2023:

                 Abstain: 0 (0%)
Approve Unconditionally: 2 (50%) (Barkley, Aguilar Sanchez) Approve with Conditions: 2 (50%) (Cola,
Wilmot) Disapprove with Comment: 0 (0%)

CONDITIONS/COMMENTS:

Tomaso de Cola (Approve with Conditions): 1) Last row of Table 4-1, last column, I read '512+'. I
interpret this as >=512. I'd suggest this notation instead, unless there is a different reason to put '512+'

Jonathan Wilmot (Approve with Conditions): On Figure 3-1 there is a note "Reprint permission
pending" Does this impact publishing the CCSDS document?
