<div>From the SEA perspective many of our area WG are, by design, intended to do work that cross cuts other areas, and thus requires interactions with them. My observation is that every time we have a four day meeting we lose significant opportunities for
the necessary cross-WG interaction. Most often this means that these important working sessions do not occur, or that they are compressed into a one hour “status” session which provides for contact, but no useful work.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Perhaps a better approach would be to try and do a more optimal schedule of meeting rooms that used fewer of them for the full five days. Since there always seems to be a peak on Tuesday and Wednesday maybe we could avoid that by insisting that some of
the meetings shift to Thursday and Friday? It makes scheduing the rooms a little more complicated, but it should not be that difficult, given knowledge of the relationships and constraints. This is not rocket science.</div>
