<div>OMG space industry folks,<br>
</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If you are attending the Ground System Architecures Workship (GSAW 2018)</div>
<div>in the Los Angeles area next week, many current and former Space Domain</div>
<div>Task Force participants will be there. Look us up and we can talk </div>
<div>in-person about the current Space Domain Task Force activities and </div>
<div>future directions of space industry software standards.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>On Monday, Rob Andzik (former SDTF co-chair) will be teaching the </div>
<div>Intro to Satellite Communications tutorial with Randy Culver. They </div>
<div>usually host a very interactive tutorial. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Rob will then join Gerry Simon (another former SDTF co-chair) and </div>
<div>myself in the afternoon to teach the Intro to SDTF Specifications, </div>
<div>XTCE, GEMS, SOLM, and XUSP.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>There are two CCSDS tutorials this year: Rob Ritter is presenting his</div>
<div>Standards for Ground And Space Communications again, and Mario Merri is </div>
<div>introducing CCSDS Mission Operations Services in a Nutshell. Mario is </div>
<div>the CCSDS liaison to the SDTF.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Steve MacLaird (OMG staff) speaks on a panel later in the week about the </div>
<div>contribution of industry standards to resiliency.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If you haven't attended GSAW in the past, I encourage you to attend this </div>
<div>year, or put it on you calendar for Spring 2019. They have consistently </div>
<div>supported industry communication and collaboration on specifications for </div>
<div>many years, including hosting an SDTF meeting once when the Spring OMG </div>
<div>meeting and GSAW were coincident on the calendar. </div>
<div><br>
Looking forward to seeing you in LA and/or Reston.<br>
